The guest speaker was Prof. Asmerom Legesse, emeritus professor from Swarthmore College who currently lives and works on different projects in Eritrea. Prof. Asmerom gave a first hand account on Eritrea’s current affairs. The seminar was concluded with a public resolution to show maximum steadfastness and vigilance to foil Weyane’s and its collaborators evil design, and also to safeguard our sovereignty and independence; calling on the United Nations and the world community to shoulder its responsibility to end Weyane’s illegal occupation of Eritrea’s sovereign land; supporting our governments and our peoples efforts on national development; agreeing each family to make a financial contribution toward national defense and economic developments.
