Breaking News; Zersenay Taddesse stood first
Today, the 23rd of September, 2007, our Eritrean hero- Zersenay Taddesse- finished first in the Netherlands. The competition, which was known as “From Dam to Dam run”, was held from the city of Amsterdam to the city of Zaandam in a distance of 16 km. (or 10 miles). Zersenay finishes his run in 45:52 time and two Kenyans followed him as second and third. During the entire competition and also after the competition, hundreds of Eritreans living in the Netherlands gave him an enthusiasm support. More details will follow.
